My research interests

My research interests revolve around the theoretical characterization of quantum condensed matter and many-body systems. Recently, I have worked on materials such as twisted bilayer graphene and excitonic insulators. My current research concerns the topological properties of open quantum systems. In particular, I study non-Hermitian quasicrystals. These models can display a range of interesting phenomena such as many-body localization and nontrivial topological phases. My aim is to investigate, within Floquet theory, how these features can be influenced and controlled by periodically driving the system with an external perturbation.
