The workshop will be held at Chicheley Hall, a stunning mansion from the 18th Century surrounded by 80 acres of beautifully kept grounds. It is located in Buckinghamshire, England, see a map below.
Fees
There is no conference fee for this event and participants are only asked to cover the costs of their accommodation and meals.
There will be a limited number of single, double and twin bedrooms. The full board fees for the workshop (24h package inclusive of meals and beverages) is £160.80 for a single bedroom and £142.8 for each person sharing a twin bedroom. The Day Delegate Rate for participants arranging their own accommodation will be £40.8.
We are expecting that some PhD students will be willing to share twin rooms if the conference reaches the capacity of the venue.
Rooms at the venue will be allocated on a first come first served basis and can be requested during registration. Please register as soon as possible in order to guarantee a room. Once you have received provisional confirmation that you have been allocated a room, you will be instructed on how to pay and complete your booking.

Meals
Breakfast, lunch and evening meals are all included beginning with dinner on the evening of Sunday (02/09/2018) through to lunch on Thursday afternoon (06/09/2018).
There will also be coffee and tea during the workshop breaks.

Getting there by train
Chicheley Hall is located just 15 minutes by car from Milton Keynes Central Station. Trains run frequently from London Euston Station, with a 30 minute journey time on the fastest train. The station also has rail links to other major cities including Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, and Glasgow.
Getting there by car
From London and the M25, proceed north along the M1 until Junction 14. Exit onto the slip road (M1 J14). At the roundabout, take the third exit onto London Road A509 towards Wellingborough and Kettering.
Stay on this road, passing over two roundabouts. After a long straight mile of dual carriageway, take the third exit on the roundabout onto the A422 towards Bedford. After leaving the roundabout, turn right down Chicheley Road (before the pub on the left), then turn left through the gates to Chicheley Hall.
If using a satellite navigation system, please note that you will be advised to use Hall Lane, the former access to Chicheley Hall. The correct access is via the main entrance on Chicheley Road, the next road along from Hall Lane.
Getting there by plane
Chicheley Hall, Chicheley is within easy commuting distance of all major London airports, including Heathrow (1 hour 15 minutes), Gatwick (1 hour 45 minutes), London Luton (35 minutes) and London Stansted (1 hour 10 minutes), as well as Birmingham International (1 hour).
