As a new member of the group, I possess an avid fascination for computational methods purposed to simulate our world on the quantum scale. Of particular interest to me is the investigation of platforms promising to support quantum computing, especially through the application of these novel methods. To perform such studies effectively, I aim to utilise tensor network and field-theoretical approaches throughout my research. Additionally, I believe that the inclusion of machine learning techniques in the field of open quantum systems is still in its infancy, and this is an aspect that I would love to explore further.
