I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Quantum Field Theory from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and a Master’s in Quantum Science and Technology from Trinity College Dublin. My primary interests are in Condensed Matter Physics, Bose-Einstein Condensates, driven-dissipative systems, and Quantum Simulations. As I always dreamed of seeing a tornado in real life, my previous work has been focused on simulations of Acoustic Black Holes in exciton-polariton condensates, the generation of Josephson vortices in stacked toroidal BECs, and quantum vortices in ring-shaped Bose-Hubbard lattices. Currently, I am interested in stochastic simulations of exciton-polariton condensates, accounting for quantum effects in mean-field theories.
